Combustion 4 is now shipping for Macintosh. Does anyone know if the “corrupted file” issue been fixed with this new release? I’m referring to the bug in Combustion 3 (OS X v.10.4.3/Quicktime 7/Decklink 5.2 drivers) in which the Combustion file browser displays any Quicktime files handled by the Blackmagic codecs as “corrupted” and displays black in the viewports when said files are loaded. I am currently using a dual boot configuration as a workaround, using the Firewire frame buffer for Combustion on a partition without the Decklink drivers installed.

    Fingers crossed…

    FYI –

I downloaded the trial version of Combustion 4 for Macintosh and it appears to work just fine with the newest Decklink drivers on OS X v10.3.4 / Quicktime 7.
