In Final Cut Pro HD version 5, what is the best codec to use when digitizing blue screen footage shot on BetaSP? There could be as many as 12 video layers in the timeline. We are using a Decklink Extreme SD capture card in a DP 2.5g G5 with 4g of RAM and BetaSP as our primary format. Hard drive space and speed are not an issue.

That’s easy, 10-bit uncompressed is best, however, 12 layers is a lot of layers.
