  HELP!!!

  Just moved over to Decklink HD and Multibridge from Cinewave and am now pulling my hair out. System is Dual 2 (It says, inside, PCI-x- HD card in top slot) 4 gig RAM, OSX 10.4.2, QT 7.02, FCP 5.02, XRAID. Installed Multibridge Utility 1.5s and Decklink 5.1.1. Got no image to monitor (from multibridge) – connected to PAL out and when I put a clip in FCP timeline it starts to play, does one or two frames then freezes. Any ideas?

  Hi Keith

  What did you put into the timeline? A Cinewave legacy clip? or a newly captured BM codec clip?

  Give us some more details about what you are capturing.

  Also – I trust you have double checked your sequence settings match your clip settings?

  thanks for the reply ended up giving up and sending the comp to supliers to look at. i tested it with bm produced clip and also tried to didge in but had no signal going in. so something wierd was going on.

  bad luck. Stick with BM you won’t regret it. And hang around these forums – I’d hate to be in the tech support business, all your questions answered for free here.

  it was a bent pin on the card. but i had great support from dreamtek in london who supplied me with a new card and everything is now quite dandy. However i do have a couple of questions. I want to digitise 25p 4.2.2 SR and i cant seem to find a capture preset. I could make a preset for sequences, but what do i do for the digitise? I also want to know if it is possible to view 25 frame HD and SD simultaneously? Thanks for everyones support.
