  • Decklink Extreme Adobe Premeire Pro says no Audio Drivers

    Hello,

I have a Decklink Extreme in a case with Scsi, ata raid, firewire etc. I set it up today the system. If I lauch Adobe Premiere pro or Encore DVD, they do not loads as I get an error “No Audio drivers” installed so the software will not run. I can’t seem to enable the Decklink Extreme as audio card in sound and Multimedia settings in Windows XP pro as just greyed out.

Are there any work arounds as would like to play audio in Windows Media Player as well. Would I need another soundcard? Only problem is I can’t fit any other PCI cards into my system at all. can’t the Decklink Extreme on Microsoft Windows XP Pro use it to output audio??

    Thanks,

    Leo 🙂

    Hi Leo

The current software versions for XP professional are :

Decklink 5.1.2, Quicktime 6.5, directX 9.0 and Service Pack 2.

Ensure that you have removed any existing Decklink drivers from Add/Remove Programs before installing the following driver.

The P4 test machine I am using here only uses a Decklink card as the Audio card – playback and preview from Premiere Pro is definitely enabled.

If you have further issues please email your system configuration to :
