  Motion blur: Multi-colour effect

  Hey everyone,

  Imagine we’ve got a black circle, where it is siting on the left side of the screen and then it moves across the other side with motion blur turned on. Instead of a black motion blur trailing behind it, is there a way like a plugin or a technique where I can apply a colour and make a rainbow effect.

  My technique at present is to duplicate the circle two times, offset the keyframes by 1 (or 2) frames and then apply a fill to colour the new layers for the desire look.

  Is there plugin or a better technique for this type of idea?

  You could use a copy of your layer as a layer emitter for Particular, if you’ve got it, to make a streak behind it. (Lots of particles with no velocity should do the trick.)
