    Hello
its been a few weeks and I’m really happy about my BMD card… few comments so far…
1-Why is the 8bit option not available when rendering AVI from combustion or 3dsmax?
only Black-Magic 10 bit 444 , 10 bit 422 and HD 8bit… I dont want/need to mix other bit depths on my premiere 8 bit project.. ideas?

2- Great feature to read image secuences inside premiere with out the need to render.. this works very good for net renders.. BUT premiere has trouble playing smoothly targa secuences.. it drops frames.. same clip rendered as avi has no performance problem.

3- Can i ask for 3dsmax frame buffer support?

I had the same question about the BM AVI 8 bit codec and was told that the Microsoft one is used instead. So I tried rendering an AVI to the uncompressed AVI setting, brought it into Premiere, and it played back with no rendering required. So I guess the Microsoft AVI uncompressed is the equivalent to the BM 8bit codec.
