  SONY UVW-1400AP question

  I am buying used SONY UVW-1400AP vcr and it has rs232 port. Can I use it with decklink extreme card- as far as I know it has rs 422 port. Do I need some sort of adaptor?

  Hi,

  You’re right about the DeckLink card having a RS422 port, so it won’t work with your card.

  Use the Keyspan USB to serial adapter for RS232 control.
