    Hi,

Just wondering if there are any other suggestions out there other than Jayse’s grow video. It’s great, but would take way too long to make 5 titles.

If you didn’t see my last post. I was just wanting to make text grow out of nothing, just like a tree growing from a seed, and have the long letters of the text grow out.

    Thank you.

    nope.

Plugins and other short-cuts will do OK,…but they will still not have that true, growing feel.

Kind of like roto work,….there is no shortcut, and c’mon,…just put in 1 all-nighter and you can pull it off beautifully!

    Good luck

Well, there might be one other way. You could try using a gradient wipe to “grow” the text out of the ground.

Here’s a VERY ROUGH example I whipped up while compressing an MPEG2…..needed to kill some time.

And, if you’re interested, here’s the AE project file with the Photoshop document.

Yes, my example is very simple, but you can get creative, and make a very complex one.

    Good luck!
