5.0 PPro-issue – don
Posted by Jo. S on July 18, 2005 at 2:24 pmHi again,
There is still no solution for AMD-users, who all seem to have the same problem with your newest drivers.
PPro crashing while starting.
Please tell us how to solve this issue!!best,

July 18, 2005 at 2:39 pmYou could try to run an older version of the drivers?
I can’t imagine BMD would not provide a fix for this…-Yves

July 18, 2005 at 6:08 pmMaybe that’s because we only told them about the problem in numbers just before the weekend, and since they’re in Australia, the BM boys n girls won’t be back from their day(s) off for a couple more hours…

July 20, 2005 at 6:43 amI have and I think they added the issue as a bugreport (since they asked a sample clip + system specs and never replied back). I don’t know when they’ll have a fix though, and they say they don’t see the issue on their machines. Not very promising imho…
BTW, i tested it on 3 machines now (HP8000, HP8200, SuperMicro X5DA8), all of them suffer from this problem.I think the PAL users are the only ones who have this problem.

July 20, 2005 at 1:38 pmHi Jo,
I will check tomorrow (i have been out of the office for a couple of days at a show)
I am pretty sure it was just a compile error when we did the build so we may be able to do a quick rebuild tomorrow for you guys.I’ll keep you posted.
Cheers,
Regards,
Matt
