I have a Decklink HD Plus and a Multibridge HD. The Multibridge is a new model after having been recalled. OSX 10.4.1, FCP 5, and Decklink driver 5.0b4. Multibridge software 1.4.

I tried component input for the first time. SD NTSC from a BetaSP (a deck we use all the time on a Decklink Extreme system w/o problems).

When digitizing component analog, I also have analog channels 1 & 2 embedded. While capturing, I get an occasional “No Video Input” error. It happens every 5 minutes or so. Needless to say, this is semi-disasterous.

I swapped out ALL the digital SDI cables going from the card to the Multibridge. Same thing. I’m fairly certain it’s not an issue with the cables. I’d love to swap the component analog cables, and I know it’s an easy target for someone to blame the problem on, but these cables are already run through the wall into another room. They worked flawlessly with our old Media 100 systems. I seriously don’t think those cables are the problem. I think it’s the card or the Multibridge.

I also tried plugging in the genlock on the card to the same blackburst generator that the BetaSP deck is plugged into. That didn’t help. Whether it’s plugged in or not, I get the same problem.

Did you ever get this fixed? (I would have thought so by now!) I’ve got the same problem with Premiere Pro 2.0.
