I heard a rumor that the Blackmagic codec overrides all other codecs upon output. I’m moving my Cinewave to another workstation and I want to be able to render out to Cinewave’s Targa YUV in After Effects or FCP on my current computer. Is this true? Please clarify if anyone knows anything about this. Thanks in advance.

What do you mean exactly? In After Effects you pick whatever codec you want to render to. In Final Cut you do the same.
