    Hello,

I am having major trouble with the output of an Extreme card running under FCP 4.5 (10.3.5). The digibeta locks to the SDI output but the end user has a Axon 3000 ARC and they are not playing ball. The Arc rolls like a good’un. The Axon 3000 doesnt have a ref in but locks to incoming video.

If I pass the Extreme o/p through the digi it then likes the signal. I guess the TBC is restriping the syncs.

After putting the SDI signal on a scope (direct out of the Extreme card), there is active picture before the front porch of the sync. Very strange.

Can anyone shed some light? I have read other posts of sync issues but nobody mentions active picture before the front porch.

Its a delay of 20 microseconds.

Can this be fixed with an earlyer rev of driver? If so which one and where could I get it.

    Thanks in advance

    Joel

front porch?!?! sounds like where Andy Griffith plays his guitar with Opey!
just haven’t heard that term in a while. most users don’t even know what blanking is.
“scope is a kind of mouthwash right dude?”
anyway 4.8 drivers definately kill input ref to both our decklink extreme systems. and other users as well.
4.7.1 is still on the BMD support page, but were just switching our digi to sync to input video –
until they get back from drinking in Vegas ; ]~

Its not like its killed the sync input completely, its just knocked the output out of sync.
