  probably very simple particular query…tapered streak.

  Hi I am trying to create a particular streak that grows onto the screen from the left, goes to the right, stays across the whole screen for a while with wavy turbulence, then swims off to the right. Im using the motion path and light function in particular v2, but.. I want my path to be tapered at both ends, so tapered at it swims on at the head of the path and the tail tapered too.. I have tried endlessly playing around with particle life, and the opacity/size over life functions, but for the life of me I cannnot get it to work!!

  any ideas most welcome.

  to get the taper at both ends, you should just need to set the size over life graph to start small, get big in the middle, then get small again at the end (you might try one of the pre-made graphs).

  to create the trail that keeps waving but the emitter stop moving, play around with wind and turbulence (in the physics settings).

  Or you can use Bezier Warp…
