I am having a challenge animating a layer that I have imported from Photoshop of a logo that has a beveled background. I want the sun in the background to rise above the bevel not through it. How can I accomplish this. I think it should be some kind of mask, but I am not sure. Should it be done in Photoshop or After Effects?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I find it hard to visualize the problem, can you upload a picture of the logo somewhere so it’s clearer what should be foreground and what should be masked
