Posted by Bill Reed on June 23, 2011 at 6:32 pmHey peoples. I wondering if anyone knows how to achieve this silhouette effect with after effects? Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!

June 25, 2011 at 6:52 pmThanks for your responses, I really appreciate it although I’m not even sure where to begin. I assume I will need a couple layers of the girl keyed out but I’m not sure how to achieve that without using a green screen. Here is the link to the video and what I’m trying to replicate is when during the freeze frame of the characters a silhouette appears and grows from their heads.

Effect @ :25 seconds, 1:24, 2:24 etc.
Thanks guys!
