NTSC back to 24fps
I have a lot of footage shot on film (35mm) at 24 fps and transfered to NTSC video. That means that now I have interlaced frames every 4th and 5th frame. I normally work in PAL so this is all new to me. I want to take the footage back to only frames, so that every frame in the video corresponds with a frame on the original film. That means I have to combine every 4th and 5th frame from interlaced to a single frame. My footage will speed up of course but that is not a problem in this case.
I tried doing it manually by making two field masks, one for upper and one for lower, wich works fine but takes too much time. There must be an easier way to do this, but how…Anyone?
