problem maintaining vector quality.
hello
i would like your help with after effects exporting.
i am making an animation on after effects.my designs were made with illustrator.i would like to know which is the best way to export the animation and maintain the quality of my vectors.
should i export image sequence or a video format such as .mov etc.?
after that i will edit my animation on premiere pro cs4.what is the best way to export the video to keep the quality.
until now the quality that i can get does not satisfy me.
my final renderings look a bit blurry and the quality of the vectors poor.

Dave is right about the switch. As far as rendering the final piece, it depends what you want it for. If it’s web playback, like YouTube or the like, then a h264 compression is what you’re after. A f4v or flv. Don’t render that from After Effects though. Open the project in Adobe Media Encoder (File, Open After Effects Project)- you’ll get a menu that shows all the comps in that project. Choose the comp you want to render and then choose the compression from the presets.

Quicktime’s animation codec (at 100% quality) and Quicktime’s PNG codec are both mathematically lossless.
