  color space conversion from HD to D-Cinema

  Hi,
  i did an HD After Effects project for a client. it went well ’till he wrote me the output specs…

  1- 1080P 24 Quicktime uncompressed.
 (no problem!)

  2- Audio: 6 audio wave tracks encoded in Dolby D and Dolby AC3.
 (does this can be done in AE?)

  3- Include the color space conversion from HD to D-Cinema color space settings. (Whoa…. I just don’t get a word out of this!!!)

  Can someone explain me points 2 and 3? I would be so thankful…

  Regarding the digital cinema output:

  Use color management in After Effects, and use the DCDM X’Y’Z’ output profile for output. We have step-by-step instructions for that here. Yeah, that says CS4, but nothing significant has changed in this area in CS5 and CS5.5.
