  ae cs 3 toggle selected effects on and off

  I have a series of layers with multiple effects on them. I need to be able to toggle one of the effects off for animation purposes and then toggle them back on for rendering purposes. Or better yet somehow tell AE to show the layers with the effect off and render the layers with the effect on. Any ideas or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  Yes Dave, I am definitely looking for a way to automatically turn off a single effect on multiple layers. Ideally via some sort of expression or tagging system etc.

  The pt_EffectsSearch [link] script might do what you need.
