    hi

i am trying to build up some text with relatively large colored particles. the thing is that they should be slightly moving when the text is built up. i tried using spin amplitude and frequency to get this motion. unfortunatly this affects the z-axis to and so the particles pop up when one gets in front of the other and so on.

then i was trying using the turbulence field – but it also affects all three axis.

does anyone know a workaround – or maybe a script to supress position changes in the z-axis of a turbulence field?

    regards

Create custom particles that are wiggling about the x,y space in the particle precomp.
