Hello everyone, I was wondering if there was anyone out there that knows how to render a video in .avi format using the divx codec (divx 6.9.2 to be exact)
I’ve tried many different settings but it just renders out a black screen. I’ve even tried using the default .avi settings, being best settings and lossless and modifying the lossless to use the divx codec but it ends up giving me an error. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Best to open up the AE comp in Adobe Media Encoder and render from there. AE does not do very well when it comes to encoding to compressed formats, that’s what Encoder is for.
