    Hi,
Working on a title sequence at the moment with lots of 3d channels and lights. When i come to render the scenes i am gettin a failed render message that says i dont have enough RAM available. I am running a Dual 2.8 hp workstation with 2gb of RAM, on service pack 2, so should have no problem rendering. I also have a Avid Mojo connected to this machine. We have tried rendering the same sequence on another machine with virtually the same spec but half the amount of RAM (except that machine is still service pack 1) and has no Mojo connected, and have had no problems with the render. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks SKEAN.

Does Task Manager indicate that you are actually using up your RAM? If so, you should be able to track down the cause.

Also, try accessing the secret rendering prefs by holding down shift when you access edit>prefs: keep the shift key down until the dialog appears. Under the secret dialog, purge every 5 frames when rendering.

    Hope that helps,
    Steve

Task manager just seems to show i am using about 2 thirds of the RAM i have?
will have a look at the secret render prefs and see if that helps.
