  Mouth Breaking Off

  I know it looks challenging, and needs a lot of CGI animation to do this, but I’m just hoping someone would know how to do this. Thanks sooooooooo much! 🙂

  A pretty big budget and you can hire a few prosthetics visual effects artist that can build a mask like that for you, put it over the actor’s head and have it fall apart, while the lower part of the face is dressed in chroma paint/fabric. Then you can track the head 3d, build, texture and animate the inside of the head (mouth) and composite that in. I’m afraid is not an easy way to do it entirely in post. Maybe a real good 3d artist would be able to build, texture and animate the whole mask for you, but usually these kind of fx have the prosthetics element involved.
