    I will be using it primarily for after effects but would like to try 3d rendering also. Pls tell me if this is good.

    Also, i cannot set up a pc so laptop is really needed cause i will be travelling.

    Looks pretty good except that you will want a notebook with 4 RAM slots so that you can max out at 16GB or 32GB.

    And you’ll want PremierePro for faster previews and important touchups of your mograph work. The 1.5GB DDR5 460M should do the trick.

    What’s the cost like and what are the other options you’re looking at?

    Here in the Philippines, where most laptops are on higher price than on states. its about 2100$

    Do you know how many memory slots are there in this one?

    It’s fine. Especially if you don’t know why you would want more. I’m doing 3D and AE work on a system that is half the speed and half the ram.
