  1920×1080 to 2.39:1

  Quick question…

  What’s the best way ( in AE ) to take my 1920×1080 comp and convert to 2.39:1 ratio?

  Create a comp that is 1920 wide and 1920/2.39 tall. Round up to the nearest multiple of at least 2 if not 4.

  Add your 1920×1080 footage to it. The tops and bottoms will be cut off. Vertically space it however you like, whether you want to cut off the top or bottom or equally balanced.
