I’m running on a MacBook Pro, Snow Leopard, AE 9.0.3.8 CS4.

No matter what workspace I choose, the panels are too big for me to see the bottom. For example, I can’t see the controls and options at the bottom of the Comp window.

Is this a Mac problem or an After Effects issue?

    Thanks!

Try momentarily switching your Mac’s Display resolution to something really low. You should then see the bottom of the panels. Drag them in and up so they’re small. Switch your resolution back to what it was, then drag the panels back to taste.

    Perfect. Thank you.

Just curious: Do you find there is a reason that this occasionally happens?

The only time I’ve encountered it is when working on a project with a dual display setup of differing resolutions, the panels enlarged to fit the larger, having then ported the project over to a single monitor system of lower res.
