    Hello All,

I work at a studio doing motion graphics and our editors all use Avid. I have noticed that when I render a composition that has markers, After Effects can read them when re-importing the .avi I just spit out. I remember from reading the manual a few years ago that layer markers are actually a vast subject of many facets and go deeply into a scripting world – though I have never actually seen anyone do anything with it.

I had the brilliant idea that if I found a script that adds a layer marker every time I have a keyframe it would make things easier for our editors when lining up music hits and temp sound effects, if they could then read these markers in Avid.

I guess what I am trying to say is this: How can you get Avid to read XMP data from After Effects, in order to show layer markers from AE?

Thanks in advance, I know there are some geniuses out there!
