  sound in after effect

  hello there,
  1. i imported a video +sound to the project but i cant hear the sound,
  2. i imprted an mp3 file and i can only hear it by double clikking on in in the project window, and not by imprted it to the timeline,
  can anyone help?

  First of all don’t use compressed audio in AE like an MP3 convert it to AIFF or WAV first. Also make sure your audio icon is on for your ram previews.

  Also, you probab. know this but anyway:
  you only hear sound when you’re ram-previewing.
  Not when you hit the space-bar and do a “normal view”
