  How to install a driver on Mac Pro 10.7

  I’m a dummy. Trying to install a driver for a USB 3.0 PCI card in a 2007 2,1 Mac Pro with 10.7.5.

  The manufacturer (Orico) of the card gave me this driver:

  GenericUSBXHCI.kext
  xhcdump

  What do I do to install it? I tried dragging it to System/Library/Extensions but it did not work. (Their instructions just said “install the driver” DUH!
