    Hi,

I am very new to video editing. I am trying to add farsi subtitles to the movie Gladiator. I have burned my dvd movie to a .mp4 file using iSkysoft. I went to subscene to get the farsi subtitles .srt file. I am using handbrake to load the .srt file and when it loads the subtitles appear with block letters. I have tried several different UTC codes and still either get half Arabic looking characters or block characters. Should I buy Final Cut Pro to do this? Can anyone please assist me? Thank you so much in advance for your time and assistance.
