  FCP7 with Mountain Lion and SD card files

  This morning I upgraded my Mac Pro snow leopard to the Mountain Lion. I always take my SD cards and copy the recording files to the external hard drive (My Book), then when I need to log and transfer in FCP, I do it from the external, so that I can have the cards free for recording. Since I did the upgrade, I can no longer log and transfer the files because all that is showing now in the folders is AVCHD and nothing else. So I took a new recording that has not been copied over and plugged it into the computer, it also is only showing AVCHD so it cannot even be used either. I really need the files that I had before, what can I do to get them back? I also need to be able to copy the cards that i have recordings on, but all they show now is AVCHD. I ran a repair on all of the hard drives, but that didn’t change it.
