    Please help me understand…

I have been working on my Mac Pro 3,1 with a GeForce GTX 285 just fine. I’m importing footage via Sony SxS cards through a Sonnet Qio system. Everything was fine until the third card wouldn’t read. I tried multiple times, but the disc image wouldn’t mount.

I uninstalled the Sonnet software and afterwards was given the prompt to restart to complete the uninstall.

I restarted as requested and on the restart, I got the Apple logo, but a black kernel panic appeared on the left hand side of my screen. It would not allow me to go any further.

Can anyone offer me any suggestions? This just happened out of the blue. I have taken a picture of what the screen looked like.

    Please help!

    …Always learning
