  play motion jpeg clips in quicktime

  dear all

  i’m trying to play large mjpeg files (captured from a web cam) for an exhibition on a mac. the easiest for me would be to use quicktime 7 without having to transcode everything.

  as far the mjpeg-files only play on vcl and mplayer.

  is there a codec i can put into the quicktime library to make this possible? i tried with perian on os 10.8. and 10.6. no success…
