    Hi.
I’ve been working in Final Cut Pro and saving my files to an external hard drive. I’m trying to delete some of the old files and I can’t move them to the trash. I get a message that says:

“The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -1407).

I checked the disk utility. When I verified the internal hard drive it said it was o.k. When I tried to verify the external hard drive it gave me an error message that said “could not unmount disk.” I don’t know what that means.

Can you help me fix this problem so I can delete files again and move forward?

    Thanks.
    Kai Mariah

Run disk warrior on the drive.

    Hindsight is always 1080p
