  Hard drive unmounting

  I have been using a SimpleTech 1T array for backing up Video media and for selected playback when editing my program. I am using a Media100 HD suite. This drive began “un-mounting” and giving me error messages such as… “A devise was improperly removed…”

  I have used Disk Warrior on the drive several times. I cannot perform any action on the drive so as to copy the files to another drive. If I attempt to copy a file from the drive it begins to transfer but then un-mounts.

  I can put this drive on another MAC and the drive works fine.

  Any suggestions?

  How is the drive connected to the computer?

  Hindsight is always 1080p

  Via eSATA. I have also used USB but get the same result.
