I had this problem happen before. I quick restart did the trick before, but this time it’s not fixing the problem. DVDs and CD are not recognized when I insert them. It looks like its sometime to do with the OS and the burner. The burner is working. I can bypass it in DVD SP and iTunes, but when I just put in a disk to drag and drop something, it won’t recognize. Do I have to reset something. If anyone knows that would be great.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Best solution is to take it to a certified apple technician and let them give you a proper diagnosis.

There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!

Thanks, I’ll look into that. Would someone from the Apple store be good or at Best Buy’s Geek Squad?
