  iMovie HELP!!!

  Hello out there…
  I am hoping that somebody can help me with my issue:

  I have bought the new Canon HV30 HD MiniDV cam. However iMovie 06 will not recognize that the cam is connected. iMovie 08 does however…but I cannot stand iMovie 08. Is there a patch or some way that I can still edit in 06….(the apple store told me to come here to see…)

  Are you using a Firewire cable or with USB? iMovie HD6 won’t connect via USB. And is your iMovie project set to HDV if you shot in HDV or set to DV if you shot DV.

  There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
  Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!
