  Burning Alias File Onto DVD

  When I backup projects onto DVD I often create alias versions of large movie files that I don’t need but would like to keep a record of having been created and used in my projects. With Tiger it would ask to skip burning such files but keep the alias on the DVD. Leopard asks the same thing, however it doesn’t include the alias on the DVD. Is there a way to tell Leopard to burn the alias marker even though it can’t find the original movie file?
