  • External raid now READ-ONLY after Leopard upgrade

After upgrading to 10.5 my external raid (connected via Atto UL4D PCI card) has become READ-ONLY.

If I go to Get Info and check my Sharing & Permissions settings, my user account is listed as having READ & WRITE privileges, but for some reason I can only read from the disk.
The lock icon on the Info panel is greyed out, so I can’t even try and change settings.
I’ve scanned the net for 2 days now, created new admin user accounts, upgraded to 10.5.1, tried various -chown commands in Terminal and still can’t get it to work.

Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated.

    TIA

Did you use Atto tools to format it? Can you turn off ‘ignore permissions’ on the get info window?

    Aloha,
