  animating an arrow in motion

  I have an aerial photograph of an extreme-race course onto which I’d like to animate an arrow/path delineating the course. This seems like a tool that the folks at apple would have been clever enough to include in Motion, but I haven’t found out how to do it yet. Does anyone know if this is possible in Motion (or any of the other FCP Suite programs) and how to do it?
