I’m thinking of getting a Mac Mini Intel Core processor, 1.67GHz, 1GB RAM. I’m wondering if Sony Vegas and Adobe Premier Pro for Windows, and attempt to run them on the Mac Mini, will they run smoothly/properly?

Just to give you an idea of what I’m working with now, I edit using FCP HD on an iMac G4, 860GHz, 760GB RAM. I edit all kinds of things on this machine with no problem. It just renders slow.

So I’m used to things being a little slow–just wondering if those programs will work at all on the Mac Mini.

    Thanks, Josh

You would have to install Windows onto the machine. If you are working with final cut pro (FCP), why not stick with that. In my opinion FCP is much better then ether vegas, or premiere. Personally I would at least get an iMac if not a Mac Pro for video, but if you really want a mini then maybe look into getting Final Cut Express instead of FCP
