  Problem switching to MacPro

  Hi, I have transferred my Quicktime/ FCP files from G4 to the new MacPro (OS V10.4.8). Whenever I opened those files, only blank screen appeared. Does this have to do with the new OS or the quicktime ? Any help to correct the problem will be much appreaciated.

  Where did those quicktime originate from. Quicktime is often just a warper.

  It sound like you don’t have the proper codec installed.

  Hi, the QT files were created in AE, Media 100 and FCP, in G4. Can you tell me how to get the correct codec? I am really new to the systems, still learning…… Tks!
