    Hello All,

Here’s my situation, somehow a lot of files became corrupted. They will not open, etc. The files were stored on a Firewire drive, so I checked the drive with DIsk Utility. It said the volume was in need of repair and I “repaired” it. Unfortunately, this did not work. I’ve tried File Salvage and Data Rescue II but the “salvaged” files are corrupted as well. I’m completely stumped as to what happened. Many files on the drive are fine and nothing was done to the drive that would cause such a thing. Does anyone know of any utilities that would help, perhaps the whole directory structure got messed up somehow. Any help, opinions or thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Eric Jones
