Activity Forums Apple OS X lost folders

    All of a sudden I just lost 150 gigs of files. I added a folder to an existing subfolder and now I can’t find it. Are there any utilities on the mac system for recovering this or any other suggestions?

    Also…I emptied my trash but this large folder was gone afterwards.

    do a spotlight search. try repair permissions. try disk warrior.

    did you trash it by accident? if so don’t do anything that might overwrite the trashed files.
