  CS5 Audio Channels using only channel 1

  Is anyone having issues with importing clips in with different audio on different channels and only getting the one channel?

  We have Sony XD and are using Channel 1 & Channel 2 audio for different mics. We have just notice that when importing into AE CS5 it’s only taking the Channel 1 and making it stereo. We can’t use mixer to split the left and right to get me the 2nd channel.

  I have imported the clips in Final Cut and see all 4 channels. (Only audio on 1 and 2) I can render out the audio for each channel and import that in AE. When I import that channel in it’s only on one side, left or right. I then can use mixer to stereo the channel. (This is how I was doing it on CS4)

  Any clue what is going on or what I can do to bring in the audio correctly into AE CS5?

  I have the latest updates and still have the issue.
