  How can I preserve creation date when converting psd to jpeg?

  I have an archive of about 24,000 psd images that I want to batch convert to jpeg. It is important that they can be searched by creation date. Is there an os x app that can preserve the original creation date when creating a jpeg file?

  The only way that I have found to work is changing the date in the preferences.
