  mac and entourage woes

  hey has this ever happened to anyone ?

  we came to the office today and our mac had basically reset
  our customized wallpaper was now the generic blue apple background
  and all our programs had to be re-done…

  the big problem entourage…
  we are back on-line but is there anyway to regain the old contacts and emails ?

  not unless you have then backed up somewhere. Thats why I stick with apples mail, iCal & Address Book and sync then with my dot mack daily. If my computer blows up I still have them.

  Did you fill up the hard drive? The data for entourage is stored in the Microsoft user data folder just inside your user folder. See if there is anything in there of decent size.

  Since you said the desktop changed it sounds like your user folder got screwed up. Anything else affected?
