just wondering how to make a DVD from these folders. i tried “mounting” them in the disk utility, but to no avail. i’m sure there is a simple answer to this one (like with most of my questions).

I believe (haven’t tried it) if you create a new burn folder, drag the files into it, then click “Burn” that should do it.

you are a genius…it worked. i dragged (or is it “drug”?) the Audio_TS and the Video_TS folder into the burn folder and it worked great. it played fine in my settop player, but would not play on DVD Player on the same Mac G5 that created it! rather odd.

[mortimer heathcliff] “but would not play on DVD Player on the same Mac G5 that created it! rather odd. “

Typical DVD voodoo. Who knows why one works and the next doesn’t? It can be related to the media used, the burn speed, just a glitch, because it Thursday, whatever. Always test on the device it going to be played on and use name brand media.
