  Simple Software Video Switcher

  Hello all,
  I am taking part in a preview of a larger performance that includes video this coming week. Normally, we show the work in theaters with a full video switcher. Unfortunately, this is not the case for this preview performance so I’d like to come up with a simple software-based solution.

  So what I am looking for is a basic OS X app that can take two DV Quicktime files and either crossfade between them and fade in/out to black. Pretty simple.

  I have taken a look at some of the VJ software out there but they are really more fire power than I need, plus cost money which I really don’t want to spend for this one off.

  GridX seems the closest so far, but I’d really like to find just a simple solution. Thanks!
