  • 3D layers rendering incorrectly

    Hi,

Just getting into CS5. I just noticed that 3D layers are rendering incorrectly in that they are not intersecting the way they are supposed to. I have just updated to 10.1 and I checked to see if the Advance 3D plugin had any settings to change. Nothing there.

Any one else having this issue? Solution?

    Thanks,

    r

Have you been through the list of items which interrupt 3D space on the 3D layer interactions, render order, and collapsed transformations page?

Any 2D layers among your 3D layers will break proper render order, as do the following (quoting the manual):

    • An adjustment layer
    • A 3D layer with a layer style applied
    • A 3D precomposition layer to which an effect, closed mask (with mask mode other than None), or track matte has been applied
    • A 3D precomposition layer without collapsed transformations
